According to this MSNBC post, Dr. Conrad Murray, arrived in Los Angeles over the weekend, both for a family event, and to "be available for law enforcement." Ed Chernoff, one of his attorneys from Houston, is reported to arrive in LA also.
We don't know if this really means charges will be brought, but it sure is closer than we've seen in the past months.

This video is REALLY worth a watch! (added 2/4/10)
This is an interesting paragraph on what homicide means, from a legal view, according to Ed Chernoff's firm website:
"Homicide: Homicide is the killing of one human being by another. Homicide includes murder and manslaughter, which are unlawful, and the acts of excusable and justifiable homicides, which are lawful. Consequences for the conviction of murder may potentially include: death, life imprisonment without parole, some other amount of jail time with the possibility of parole, or probation depending on the actual crime of which someone is convicted."Chernoff's Firm Press Page

ReplyDeleteLAPD: With cuffs
MURRAY: Will you come and get me or i'll come alone?
D.A.& LAPD: SHUT UP! Can't you see we have a feud here?
MURRAY: You suck! I'm leaving.
Are they serious? At the end he'll leave and they will be left holding their...*...in their hands.
P.S. *Hand-cuffs i wanted to say!

Let's hope this goes down like it should, with no mistakes. Just get on with what needs to happen, finally. He's been free long enough, he needs to face the music.
