Opus Update

Ok, finally-- here is the update.  Sorry it took so long.  I hate when life gets in the way.  LOL

  If you are still sending the emails to Opus and TM, please take a break and stop sending them until further notice.  

I spoke with Karl Fowler, who is the owner/CEO of Kraken Opus and he is located in the UK.  Karl was very polite, very understanding of your positions and understands your frustrations.  You all know my level of frustration at the promises you have been told all along, and I did share the steps I was in the process of taking.   He did listen.  I in turn listened to him.  We had a VERY good call and I am very VERY happy with the outcome.  10 days.  Hold on for 10 days!

Summary:
He is sincerely sorry this has all happened and at this point, explanations are time consuming.  What we need is open communication, a game plan and status checks.  Karl and I now have that.  Again, I am EXTREMELY HAPPY with our new relationship with Karl, and his #1 goal is getting your Opi in your hands within 10 days, by March 15th.  He is committed to that.  There are other issues Karl and I will work on together while the delivery issues are in process as well, but right this very minute the #1 priority is delivery.  I know you all will agree with that.

Details:
Let me outline the general game plan below. 
1.  Delivery groups: (as I define them)
Group 1:  The countries that have not been delivered at all:  Russia, Ukraine, Brazil, Argentina, republic of Georgia.
Group 2:  Individuals in countries that have been delivered but your orders not fulfilled.  Example:  Netherlands began deliveries on January 6th, but NYTram still does not have his.  (This group received an email from me this morning - see post below). 

Opus deliveries are a #1 priority for deliveries with Fed Ex.  Again, this is part of Karl's committment to get the books in your hands as fast as he humanly can this coming week.  Most books will be delivered this week by Friday or Saturday, but I don't want you all to be sleeping on your doorsteps waiting for Fed Ex-- so let's stick with by the following Monday, March 15th. 

Group 1 is in various stages with Customs in their respective country.  Example, Brazil and Argentina, according to my earlier call with Andy Clay, the books ARE IN the country and in between Customs and/or Fed Ex.  Deliveries are expected to start by/before Wednesday.  Russia and Ukraine I will get an update on Monday when I have a conference call with Karl and Andy.  But right now it is our expectation they will be delivered by Monday March 15th.  Please give me till Monday afternoon to confirm all these dates in concrete.

Group 2 will be also various dates, depending on what distribution center they are coming from and customs, but again your drop dead date is also Monday March 15th.  Some may be as soon as Tuesday, others may be Friday or Saturday-- so again, don't sleep on your doorsteps.  Just expect them by March 15th. 

IF there are ANY changes in this information, I will be immediately notified and then I will let each of you know.  Depending on the circumstances, if it is an individual issue and I have your email- I will send you a private note.  IF is pertains to a larger issue or a whole country-- I will post an update on my blog (http://calimjfan.blogspot.com/) our forum page on MJ.com and Max Jax.  You will in turn share with your MJ forums as we have been doing,

2.  Opus Reality:  (the site not the cards) There will be an update in the next 7-10 days.  Stay tuned.  I didn't ask him about getting the actual cards, so this is an action item for my call Monday.

3.  The Nate Giorgio special prints offered, including but not limited to: France, Germany, Netherlands, Japan. Those are in the early stages process of distrbution.  Karl is checking into an expected timeline on these, so I will let you know when I hear.

4.  Damaged Opi.  This is an action item for me to discuss with Karl on Monday.  I neglected to bring it up on our call yesterday.  I am hoping to find a policy/method that can be distributed quickly for those who do have damage to their Opus, that if approved for replacement can be a quick and easy transition.

Even though I did vent to Karl on your behalf, our conversation ended very pleasantly and I again am VERY VERY HAPPY with this new arrangement.  As they say, proof is in the pudding.  Beginning today,  it would be nice if we could change our feelings and remember why we purchased The Official Michael Jackson Opus to begin with.  It was because of our L.O.V.E. for the most gentle spirit on the planet.  Our King of Pop and our hearts:  our Michael.

We are Michael Jackson fans.  We represent L.O.V.E. and harmony.  We have made our points known very loudly, now we need to take a deep breath and allow this new path to work.  You know I am watching out for every one of you.  You have been heard.  So now let's remember the excitement we had in December and just think it's Christmas time all over again. 

I also would like to thank each and every person who has raised their voice to help others as well as yourself.  You have shown why we are different than others and most of all, our love for each other.  I adore you all!  Thank you.
